Results Report - Evaluating Artificial Intelligence (AI) Scribes to Reduce Administrative Burden and Enhance Data Interoperability in Canadian Primary Care
Canada Health Infoway's AI Scribe Program now represents one of the largest national implementations and evaluations of AI scribes in primary care globally.
This six-month evaluation found that AI scribes helped reduce administrative burden, improve documentation timeliness, and support clinicians in focusing more fully on patient care. The evaluation was conducted independently by the Women’s College Hospital Institute for Health System Solutions and Virtual Care (WIHV), in alignment with Infoway’s AI Scribe Program Logic Model and Measurement Framework.
